Ironwood in Newberry Springs

Last night, Skipper, Cheri, Jean, Gidget and I went to Ironwood Baptist Valentine’s Dinner in Newberry Springs.

Love going there. We went last year also. It is way out in the middle of nowhere – and being from desolate Barstow – that is saying something!

It is so beautiful. Located at a church camp and school. Rustic. With views that never end. Cabins. And so much more. I would love to spend several months there. Totally off-grid. Serene.

Everyone is so nice there. The food for the dinner is Fabulous.

Tri-tips cooked on the outdoor grills. Every single mouthful so full of flavor. Warm bread. Twice baked potatoes. Crispy vegetables. Sweet tea! In the south, they have sweet tea everywhere. I loved that so much. Really became addicted. Miss that out west.

They come to your table – round tables – my favorite! – and tend over you. More food? More beverage? More butter? More horse radish? I LOVE that!

They also have lots of really corny, funny live show with music and comedy. I’m always a sucker for that.

It’s an annual event.

Hope we get to go again!

Came home and jumped into the bubble bath.

Perfect Day!
