Life is short. Focus on what matters and let go of what doesn’t.

Gorgeous Day. Ran to Walmart early. Then to Skipper and Cheri’s to say good-bye. They have left for three days. Lots to do. Then I went to our Twilight Wish meeting at the Senior Center. We are granting our first Wish today. I interviewed the woman, as she had come for lunch to the Senior Center. Then Raynette and I went around Barstow and found a used refrigerator at Discount Furniture. They delivered it today, and I met with them at the house. The daughter Laura, took pictures of the recipient, the owner of the furniture store and myself, and I wrote a nice article for the local newspapers.

Also, right when I got back home, Jose showed up and they have emptied the trash cans and started working on the yard. He also agreed to throw all the mattresses and things that have been thrown out next to my back fence, in the access-way. It is very steep and the items are large and heavy, but he is so kind, and going to fill up his truck with all of that. So, then I texted Gabi and asked if they can remove the bench and door from the yard and come clean out the garage. Things are going in the right direction. Yea!

So cool. Tonight I was watching the programs I had taped on the DVR, including The Talk. Their guest was Marie Osmond, and they showed the photograph of Marie and Donny posing with their wax figures that are in the Madame Tussard’s Wax Museum in Los Angeles. I loved it because, I was at the live show where they posed for that picture, the night before the wax figures were going to the museum. Just a little personal thrill for myself.
