Plan. Prepare. Expect. Experience!

Pretty good day.  Stopped by the cemetery to visit Auntie Dorothy.  Watched a military funeral with the guys in Navy Whites play the bugle and Taps and the guys dressed in Military Blues do the 21 gun salute.  They folded the flag, lowered the casket and sang some songs.  Went over to the park at the Hayward Plunge and walked the trail.  Walked over 7,000 steps today!  My record so far.  Had a small gelato.  Tonight went to the Jacuzzi and swimming pool.  After that, I ran over to Lucky’s and then up to Garin park.   Pretty exciting for me.  Haven’t been outside of the park at night time in years.  And it is Saturday night!  Woo Hoo!  Last night finished the audio book by Barack Obama “The Audacity of Hope” – very good, but a little bit dry.  I have started the audio book “Wild – From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail” by Cheryl Strayed.  I am on CD 3 and really enjoying it.
