Simplicity, Patience, Compassion

“I have just three things to teach:  simplicity, patience, compassion.  These three are your greatest treasures.” – Lao Tzu

Before lunch, Uncle Joe and Tommy said they were going to the cemetery to visit Auntie Isabel.  As dad and I were driving to lunch, we were going right by the cemetery and dad suggested we stop in and see if they were still there.  There they were, both completely lost.  So happy we showed up.  She was just over to the right, and we had a really good time.  Deaunn has put up pretty flowers, and I had put up a beautiful picture of her, that we had taken on our last Family Lunch in October at Harry’s Hofbrau in Livermore (which is now Closed).  She is so beautiful.

Beautiful Family Day.  Dad and I, Uncle Joe, Tommy and Kenny all had lunch at Don Jose’s in Castro Valley.  Lots of fun.

When we got home, I went over to City Sports Club, and joined.  Went swimming for an hour.  Loved it.  I plan on spending a LOT of time there.  Beautiful facility with Everything!  And very reasonable price.  $39 a month.  No contract.  Month to Month.  No down payment or extra fees.

After dark tonight, dad and I went through the entire park and passed out flyers.  Gorgeous evening.  Now can’t wait to get another Good Night’s Sleep under my new Weighted Blanket.  I Love It!

I guess I didn’t mention, that Skipper and Cheri will be staying in Texas for the next three months for Cheri’s rehab.  The least expensive medical transport to California is $10,000.  Skipper will stay at the Ronald McDonald House.  Cheri has had two surgeries so far, and is doing well.  More surgeries to follow.
